Tiny newborn Donal suddenly woke up and realized he was alone.

He was resting on a soft, secure blanket when he looked around and couldn’t see Mommy anywhere.

His little eyes widened with fear.

“Maaa… Mommy!”

Donal began screaming loudly, his tiny body trembling as he searched the room. He didn’t understand that Mommy was only a short distance away.

He looked toward the edge of the table and became even more frightened. He stayed safely on the soft blanket instead of trying to climb down.

“Mommy! Mommy!”

His cries became louder.

Then Mommy heard him.

She immediately came over and carefully moved Donal to a safe, secure place at ground level. She gently picked him up and held him close against her chest.

The moment Donal felt her warmth, his screaming changed into little sobs.

He wrapped his tiny arms around her and refused to let go.

Mommy softly stroked his back.

“It’s okay, little one. Mommy is here.”

Donal buried his face against her and slowly calmed down.

His frightened eyes began to close as he listened to Mommy’s gentle voice. After a few minutes, his tiny body relaxed completely.

Mommy stayed close, making sure her newborn was warm, comfortable, and safely supported.

Donal had been terrified when he couldn’t find her.

But now he had the one thing he had been desperately asking for—a warm, reassuring hug.

And as he finally fell peacefully asleep in her arms, Mommy whispered:

“You’re safe now, my little baby. Mommy is right here.”
