Little Cola was having a very impatient morning.

She had just woken up and immediately began looking for her milk. Her tiny eyes searched around the room until she spotted Daddy nearby.

Cola reached both little hands toward him.

“Eeee! Eeee!”

Daddy looked at her and smiled. “Good morning, little Cola. Are you hungry?”

Cola didn’t need to answer.

She wanted her milk bottle!

She watched Daddy carefully, expecting him to bring it over immediately. But Daddy was still preparing everything and wasn’t ready to give her the bottle yet.

Cola’s expression changed.

First she looked confused.

Then annoyed.

Then extremely angry.

“EEEEEE!”

Daddy turned toward her.

“Oh, Cola. I know you’re hungry. Your feeding is coming.”

But Cola wasn’t interested in waiting.

She waved her tiny hands and cried even louder. Her little face looked so serious that Daddy couldn’t help smiling.

“Are you really angry with Daddy because the bottle isn’t ready?”

Cola answered with another dramatic scream.

“Eeee! Eeee!”

She kept reaching toward the bottle while Daddy carefully prepared her appropriate feeding according to her age, species, and professional care guidance.

Cola watched every movement.

When Daddy picked up the bottle, her eyes became huge.

She immediately reached toward it.

“Wait just a moment, sweetheart,” Daddy said. “I’m making sure everything is ready.”

Cola protested again.

She looked at Daddy as though she couldn’t understand why he was taking so long.

Daddy gently reassured her.

“I haven’t forgotten you.”

Cola’s cries slowly became softer.

Daddy came closer and let her hold his finger while he finished preparing the feeding.

“There you go,” he whispered. “Daddy is right here.”

Cola squeezed his finger tightly.

Finally, the feeding was ready.

Daddy checked that it was prepared correctly and at a suitable temperature before offering it to her.

The transformation was instant.

Cola stopped crying.

Her angry little face relaxed, and she settled down to drink calmly.

Daddy smiled.

“Oh! So that’s what all the screaming was about!”

Cola ignored him completely.

She was much too busy enjoying her milk.

Her tiny hands rested against the bottle, and her eyes gradually became peaceful.

Daddy gently watched her.

“Take your time, little girl.”

After finishing her appropriate feeding, Cola looked much happier. Daddy kept her warm and comfortable and allowed her to rest.

The angry cries were completely gone.

Cola looked up at Daddy as if she had forgotten the entire argument.

Daddy laughed softly.

“A few minutes ago, you were very angry with me.”

Cola made a tiny sleepy sound.

Daddy gently stroked her head.

“I know, sweetheart. You were hungry.”

Cola curled up comfortably beside him.

Her little tummy was satisfied, her mood had completely changed, and the great morning milk crisis was finally over.

Daddy smiled and whispered, “Next time, little Cola, give Daddy a minute to prepare your milk.”

Cola closed her eyes.

She gave one tiny squeak.

It sounded suspiciously like she still wasn’t making any promises.
