It was a warm afternoon in the household, and the monkeys were gathered around for playtime. Tiny Mako, the newest addition to the family, was happily exploring his surroundings. His curious antics brought smiles to everyone, including the caretaker, who showered him with attention and gentle pats.

But not everyone was happy with Mako’s newfound popularity. Minea, known for her spirited but often jealous nature, watched from the corner with a scowl. She felt overlooked, convinced that the caretaker was giving all their love to Mako.

As Mako waddled closer to play with a soft toy, Minea’s jealousy boiled over. She lunged forward, snatching the toy and pushing Mako aside. When Mako squealed in protest, Minea went further, delivering a small bite on his tiny head. Mako let out a loud cry, drawing the caretaker’s immediate attention.

“Minea! What are you doing?” the caretaker exclaimed, rushing over to comfort the frightened Mako. Picking him up gently, the caretaker inspected his head, ensuring he wasn’t hurt.

Minea, realizing the seriousness of her actions, froze. The caretaker’s disappointed gaze pierced through her. “Hurting others out of jealousy is never okay, Minea. You need to apologize to Mako.”

Minea’s ears drooped as guilt replaced her anger. She slowly approached Mako, who was still sniffling in the caretaker’s arms. She reached out hesitantly, stroking his head and letting out a soft, apologetic chirp.

The caretaker crouched down, speaking gently to Minea. “Love and attention aren’t limited, Minea. There’s plenty for everyone. You’re still special, but kindness is what makes you truly loved.”

From that day on, the caretaker made sure to involve Minea in every activity, teaching her to share the spotlight with her new sibling. And while Minea still had moments of jealousy, she learned to channel it into affection, growing into a more loving and understanding companion for Mako.
