The moment she realized Mom was taking too long, her tiny face changed dramatically. She stood there with wide eyes and an impatient pout, already preparing herself for maximum volume.

Selena opened her super big mouth and yelled loudly across the room, making sure everyone could hear her frustration.
She didn’t just call Mom—
She announced it to the entire house.
Her tiny body bounced with urgency while she waved her little hands dramatically, demanding immediate attention.
“HURRY UP!”
Every second of waiting made her louder.
More dramatic.
More impatient.
Mom was still busy preparing things, but Selena acted like it was the biggest delay in history. She stomped slightly and cried out again with her huge voice echoing everywhere.

“Selena, wait a minute!” Mom answered.

Another giant scream exploded from her tiny body as she leaned forward impatiently, completely determined to rush Mom faster through the universe.

Finally, Mom came closer.
Instantly, Selena’s loud yelling softened into happy little noises, completely satisfied now that Mom had responded.

Peace restored.
Mom laughed softly and shook her head. “Such a loud little girl…”
And Selena proudly stayed close beside her, clearly convinced her dramatic yelling had worked perfectly.
