Moody Minea Screams, Feeling Left Alone

The door closed softly—but for Minea, it sounded too loud.

She stood in the room, her tiny body still, her eyes fixed on the space where her mom had just walked out. At first, there was silence.

Then her face changed.

Her lips trembled, her brows tightening as confusion quickly turned into anger. “Mama…?” she called, her voice small.

No answer.

And that was enough.

Suddenly, she burst into tears.

“Ahhh! Ahhh!” Minea screamed, her voice sharp and filled with emotion. Her face turned red as tears streamed down her cheeks, her tiny hands pounding lightly against the floor.

She didn’t understand why she was alone.

She didn’t want to be.

Her cries grew louder, echoing around the empty room. She stomped her feet, shaking her head, her whole body overwhelmed with anger and fear.

“Mama! Mama!” she shouted, her voice breaking.

She dropped down, rolling slightly, her tantrum growing as she tried to release everything she felt inside. Being alone felt too big, too scary for her little heart.

Every second stretched longer.

Her cries became desperate.

Then—

Footsteps.

Quick.

Rushing.

The door opened.

“Minea!” her mom called, hurrying back in.

The moment Minea saw her, her cries exploded again—but now mixed with relief. She reached out instantly, her small body leaning forward.

Her mom didn’t hesitate. She scooped her up, holding her tightly. “I’m here… I’m here,” she whispered, rocking her gently.

Minea clung to her, still sobbing, but no longer alone.

Because for a little one, even a moment alone can feel like forever—and all they really need… is to know someone will always come back.
