The afternoon sunlight filtered through the trees, casting playful shadows on the bamboo bed where Sara and tiny baby Tauch were playing. Tauch, the newest addition to the family, was still wobbly on his little legs, and his curious eyes darted everywhere as he explored the world.

Mom sat nearby, keeping a watchful eye as she folded freshly laundered clothes. Sara, the ever-watchful older sister, had taken it upon herself to keep baby Tauch entertained. She cradled him gently at first, cooing softly to make him laugh.

But things quickly took a possessive turn. Sara pulled Tauch close and tucked him under her belly, wrapping her arms protectively around him. Tauch squirmed a little but didn’t seem to mind the warmth of his sister’s embrace.

“Sara, give Tauch to me,” Mom called out when she noticed the scene. She reached out her hands, expecting Sara to hand over the baby.

But Sara had other plans. She tightened her hold, her little face scrunching in defiance. “No! Mine!” she seemed to say with her determined eyes.

Mom sighed and stood up, walking over to the bed. “Sara, you can’t keep him all to yourself. He needs to come to Mommy now.”

Sara shook her head vigorously and clutched Tauch even tighter. Tauch, oblivious to the standoff, giggled and babbled happily under Sara’s belly.

Mom couldn’t help but laugh at the sight. “All right, big sister. You can hold him for a little longer, but you must share,” she said gently, patting Sara’s head.

Sara gave a triumphant grin, holding Tauch like her most prized treasure. For now, she was the proud protector of her tiny brother, not ready to let him go.
