Little A Tong had just finished his bath. His tiny body was clean and fresh, still slightly damp as Mom gently prepared his shirt.
But A Tong wasn’t happy.
Not at all.
The moment Mom tried to put the shirt on him—
His face changed.
His lips trembled.
“Eee…!”
A small protest quickly turned into—
“EEEEEE!”
A Tong began crying loudly, his voice full of anger and refusal. His tiny arms pushed forward, trying to block the shirt from going over his head.
“Eee! Eee!”
He twisted his body and leaned back, clearly rejecting it. The soft fabric didn’t matter—he just didn’t want to wear it.
His moody attitude took over.
He kicked his little legs and made louder cries, refusing completely. For him, after bath time, he just wanted freedom—not clothes.
Mom stayed calm.
She paused for a moment, not forcing him right away. Instead, she spoke softly and gently touched his back, helping him feel relaxed again.
A Tong kept crying for a bit.
But slowly…
His loud voice softened.
His body stopped resisting as much.
Mom carefully tried again, this time slower and gentler.
This time—
No big fight.
A Tong allowed the shirt to go on, still a little grumpy, but calmer.
Once it was done, he settled down, his earlier tantrum fading away.
For little A Tong, even simple things like wearing a shirt can feel overwhelming—but with patience, he always finds his calm again.
