Mom’s Tears for Her Sick Baby

The room was unusually quiet.

In Mom’s arms lay a tiny baby monkey, weak and barely moving. His small body felt warm, and his eyes looked tired, struggling to stay open.

Something was wrong.

Mom held him gently, her face filled with worry. She watched every little movement, every soft breath, hoping to see a sign of strength.

But the baby looked weaker than before.

He didn’t cry loudly like usual. Only faint sounds came from his tiny mouth.

“Eee…”

It was soft, almost silent.

Mom’s heart tightened.

She carefully touched his head, then wrapped him in a warm cloth to keep him comfortable. Her hands moved slowly, full of care and fear at the same time.

The little monkey rested against her, too weak to move much.

His tiny fingers barely curled.

Mom looked down at him, her eyes glistening. Tears slowly gathered, almost falling as she tried to stay strong.

It was hard to watch.

She gently fed him a little milk, making sure he could swallow. Every small sip felt like hope.

“Stay strong…” she whispered softly.

The baby didn’t respond much, but he stayed close, feeling her warmth.

Mom held him tighter, as if her love alone could protect him from everything.

Time seemed to slow down.

Every second mattered.

Even though fear filled her heart, Mom didn’t give up. She stayed beside him, watching, caring, hoping.

Because for her, this tiny life meant everything.

And even as tears nearly fell, her love remained stronger than anything else—quiet, patient, and full of hope for her little baby to recover.
