It was early morning, and Mom was getting ready to go to work. Everything was calm—until little Pavpav noticed.
The tiny baby monkey sat nearby, watching her every move.
At first, he was quiet.
But the moment Mom picked up her things and walked toward the door, Pavpav’s face suddenly changed. His eyes widened, and his tiny body rushed forward as fast as he could.
He grabbed onto Mom’s leg tightly.
“Eeee! Eeee!”
Pavpav started crying loudly, refusing to let go. His small arms wrapped around her, holding on with all his strength as if he was afraid she would disappear forever.
Mom gently tried to move.
But Pavpav clung even tighter.
His little face pressed against her, and his cries became more desperate. He didn’t want Mom to leave—not even for a moment.
Every time she tried to step forward, Pavpav followed, still holding on.
It made things very difficult.
Mom sighed softly, feeling both worried and touched. She bent down and gently picked him up, trying to calm him.
The moment Pavpav was in her arms, he held her even closer, refusing to loosen his grip.
His crying slowly became softer, but his tiny hands still held tightly onto her clothes.
For Pavpav, Mom was everything—his comfort, his safety, his whole world.
After a few minutes, Mom carefully sat down and held him close, giving him the warmth he needed before leaving.
Though it was hard, Pavpav slowly began to calm down.
Even if he didn’t want to let go, he was learning that Mom would always come back.
And that love never truly leaves.
