Little A Tong was feeling very playful that day. His tiny eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked around the table, ready to explore and touch everything nearby.
He wanted to move and play.
But just as A Tong tried to crawl forward, TanTan gently hugged him to keep him from moving too much. TanTan wanted to make sure the little monkey stayed safe and didn’t fall.
However, A Tong didn’t understand that.
The moment he felt himself being held back, his face quickly turned angry. His eyebrows tightened, and he tried to push his tiny body forward.
Then suddenly—
“EEEEEE!”
A Tong screamed loudly.
The frustrated baby monkey waved his arms and twisted his body while TanTan was still hugging him. He clearly didn’t like being stopped from playing.
“Eeee! Eeee!”
A Tong tried to wiggle free again and again, making sharp angry cries. His tiny hands pushed against TanTan as if saying, “Let me go! I want to play!”
But TanTan continued holding him gently to keep him safe.
Mom watched the dramatic scene and understood what was happening. She softly spoke to A Tong and tried to calm him down.
After a few moments, the loud screaming slowly became quieter.
The angry little monkey began to relax as TanTan loosened the hug a little. Soon A Tong stopped shouting and looked around again with curious eyes.
Even though he had been very upset, the playful baby monkey was finally ready to calm down and enjoy the moment again.
