Little baby Libe was lying on the floor that day while Mom was busy doing some work nearby. The tiny monkey watched Mom carefully, hoping she would come and play or hold him.
But Mom was still busy.
At first, Libe waited quietly. His small eyes followed Mom’s movements, expecting her to come soon.
But as the minutes passed, he started feeling lonely.
His tiny face slowly changed. His lips trembled, and his eyes filled with tears.
Then suddenly—
“EEEEEE!”
Little Libe burst into a loud temper cry.
The baby monkey lay on the floor kicking his tiny feet and waving his arms in the air. His loud cries echoed around the room as he called for Mom’s attention.
“Eeeee! Eeee!”
He rolled slightly and cried even louder, clearly upset that Mom wasn’t coming right away. For a small baby like Libe, waiting felt very hard.
Mom soon heard the strong crying.
She looked over and saw Libe lying on the floor making a dramatic tantrum. Even though she was busy, she walked over to check on him.
The moment Libe saw Mom coming closer, his crying slowly became softer.
Mom gently picked him up and held him close.
Almost instantly, the loud crying stopped. Libe rested quietly in Mom’s arms, feeling safe again.
Sometimes little Libe gets impatient when Mom is busy.
But once he feels her warm hug, his tears quickly disappear.
