Little Luna was sitting near the table while Mom was busy nearby. On top of the table sat something very tempting—a warm bottle of milk.
The moment Luna noticed it, her eyes grew wide.
Milk was one of her favorite things, and seeing the bottle made her very curious. Slowly, the naughty little monkey climbed onto the table, trying to reach the bottle without Mom noticing.
She stretched her tiny hand forward.
The bottle was just a little farther away.
Luna leaned closer and closer, carefully trying to grab it. She wanted to steal a sip of the milk before anyone stopped her.
But the table edge was slippery.
Suddenly—
“Oops!”
Luna lost her balance and fell down from the table.
The little monkey landed on the floor with a surprised look on her face. For a moment she stayed still, shocked by what had just happened.
Mom quickly turned around after hearing the noise.
She hurried over and gently picked Luna up to make sure she was okay. Luckily, Luna wasn’t seriously hurt—just surprised and a little embarrassed.
Mom softly comforted her while checking her tiny body.
The milk bottle was still safe on the table, but Luna had learned a small lesson.
Sometimes trying to sneak a treat can lead to unexpected accidents.
After calming down, Luna stayed close to Mom, no longer trying to steal the milk again.
