Hoping Little LiLi’s Deep Wound Heals Soon

Baby LiLi lay quietly on the soft blanket, her tiny body still and tired from the long struggle of healing. The wound on her side was deeper than anyone expected—an injury far too big for such a small newborn. Her fragile chest rose slowly, her breaths soft and careful, as if even breathing too deeply might hurt her tiny body.

Mom knelt beside her with trembling hands, holding the new medicine that the doctor had given. She whispered LiLi’s name softly, afraid of causing pain but knowing she had to help her. LiLi lifted her little face, her eyes wet and shining, searching for comfort in Mom’s gentle presence. Even though she was hurting, she trusted Mom completely.

When the medicine touched her wound, LiLi winced—her small fingers curled tightly, her tail twitching in discomfort. A tiny whimper escaped her lips, but she didn’t pull away. She stayed still, relying on Mom’s soothing voice and warm touch to keep her brave. Mom kept whispering, “Be strong, my little girl… it will heal soon.”

LiLi blinked slowly, leaning her head against Mom’s hand. She didn’t understand what medicine was, but she understood love—and that was enough to help her endure the discomfort.

After the wound was carefully cleaned and treated, Mom wrapped LiLi gently in a soft cloth to keep her warm. LiLi relaxed a little, her eyes half-closing, exhaustion finally overtaking her. She nestled close, wanting nothing more than the safety of Mom’s arms.

Every day, Mom stays by her side—watching, protecting, and hoping. And even though the wound is still deep, there is a little bit of healing happening each day, a little more strength returning to LiLi’s tiny body.

With love, care, and this new medicine, everyone hopes LiLi will soon get back to being the bright, playful baby she deserves to be.
