Mommy Luna had always been a playful monkey, but when it came to her little son Luka, she became even more animated. Luka was still tiny—soft fur, big bright eyes, and the funniest little giggle that could melt a heart in seconds. This morning, however, Luka woke up feeling grumpy. Luka blinked… and then the corners of his mouth twitched. Luna flipped backward onto the grass, kicked her feet in the air dramatically, then bounced back up with a proud grin. Luka’s giggle finally escaped his lips like a bubble—and Luna immediately exaggerated her reaction, pretending she had just heard the funniest joke in the jungle.
Now Luka was fully entertained. He climbed onto her lap and grabbed her cheeks, squishing them together. Luna let her tongue pop out in a goofy expression, causing her baby to squeal with laughter. She rolled onto her back, letting Luka crawl across her belly like she was a fluffy playground just for him.
They spent the next minutes full of giggles, tickles, and silly faces. The jungle breeze rustled the leaves above them, carrying their laughter into the morning air.
In the end, Luka forgot completely why he was upset—because Mommy Luna always knew the magic cure: love, laughter, and a little silliness.
