Jasmine Kicks Mom After Feeling Ignored

Queen Jasmine had always been a spirited little monkey—tiny in size but enormous in personality. Everyone in the house knew she ruled her world with a mix of sweetness and fiery attitude. But that morning, her mood was stormier than ever.

Mom was busy cleaning the room, sweeping away fallen leaves and washing bowls after feeding time. She moved quickly, trying to finish her chores so she could return to Jasmine, who usually demanded constant attention. But today, Jasmine wasn’t in the mood to wait. She sat on the floor, legs tucked in, tail twitching with impatience. Her big eyes followed Mom everywhere, growing more frustrated each second.

Jasmine let out a small whine at first. Then a louder cry. Then a dramatic wail that echoed through the house. Still, Mom was focused on finishing her task. She spoke gently to Jasmine, “Just a moment, baby. Mommy will come.”

But Jasmine didn’t want “a moment.” She wanted now.

With sudden drama, she marched toward Mom, puffed up like a tiny queen ready for battle. Mom bent down to wipe the table, and that’s when it happened—Jasmine, overwhelmed with jealousy and feeling ignored, lifted her tiny leg and kicked Mom right on the arm.

Not hard enough to hurt, but full of attitude.
Full of “How dare you not look at me!”

Mom gasped, shocked but not angry. Jasmine instantly froze, realizing she might have gone too far. Her little face twisted between anger, guilt, and sadness. Her lower lip trembled as she stared at Mom, unsure of what would happen next.

But Mom did what mothers do—she gently picked Jasmine up, cradling her close. “You’re my girl,” she whispered. “But kicking isn’t nice.”

Jasmine’s tears softened. She buried her face in Mom’s neck, clinging tightly—finally getting the attention she desperately wanted.
