Mom Trains Babies to Stand for Food

The sun was warm that morning, shining gently through the wooden window of the small house. Mom sat on the floor with two playful baby monkeys by her side — little Kimi and tiny Tantan. Both were full of energy, hopping around and making adorable squeaks. Today wasn’t just an ordinary playtime; it was a special training day. Mom wanted to teach them how to stand upright, just like humans, to receive their food.

At first, both babies didn’t understand what was happening. Mom held a small piece of banana high in the air, smiling patiently. “Come on, stand up, babies,” she encouraged softly. Kimi looked up, eyes wide with curiosity, while Tantan squealed, reaching out with his tiny hands but still on all fours. The smell of sweet banana was too tempting to resist.

Mom gently tapped their little tummies and lifted their arms to balance them. “Up, up,” she said. Kimi wobbled first, his knees shaking, tail swinging for balance. He managed to stand for a few seconds before plopping down again, looking surprised but proud. Tantan, however, wasn’t as patient — he cried in frustration, wanting the banana without the hard work.

Mom laughed lovingly, picking him up and kissing his forehead. “You’ll get it soon, my baby.” She tried again, holding the banana just high enough to make them try. This time, both monkeys lifted their tiny bodies slowly, legs trembling but determined. For a magical few moments, they stood — tiny, clumsy, but upright like little humans.

“Good job!” Mom cheered, giving each a small piece of banana as a reward. Kimi clapped his hands excitedly while Tantan squeaked with joy, chewing proudly. They looked at each other, almost understanding that standing up meant getting treats faster.

The training continued with laughter and playful squeals. Mom patiently helped them balance again and again, each time rewarding them with bits of food and lots of affection. The house filled with happy sounds — soft munches, gentle giggles, and Mom’s proud voice.

By the end of the morning, both Kimi and Tantan stood taller and prouder than before, their confidence blooming. They weren’t perfect yet, but they were learning fast — and most importantly, they were doing it together with love, patience, and plenty of delicious motivation
