The house was quiet, except for the soft, heartbreaking cries of baby BonBon. He sat on the cool floor, his tiny body trembling, eyes glistening with tears. His dad had stepped outside for a few minutes, but for the little monkey, those minutes felt like forever.
At first, BonBon called softly, “Eee… eee…” hoping Daddy would hear and come back right away. But when no one answered, his cries grew louder, filled with sadness and fear. His tiny chest heaved as he moaned again, curling his tail close to his belly.
The loneliness was too much for him. He pressed his small hands to the ground, rocking back and forth as if trying to comfort himself. His lips quivered, his face wet with tears, and every sound he made carried the same plea — “Daddy, please come back.”
Mom peeked in from another room, her heart breaking at the sight. She walked over gently, but BonBon didn’t stop crying. He looked up at her, eyes red and full of tears, and then looked back toward the door — the one Daddy had walked through.
Mom tried to lift him, but he squirmed softly, moaning again as if to say, “I don’t want anyone else, I just want Daddy.” His little voice trembled, and his body slumped into the corner of the room, shoulders drooping like a tiny, lost child.
Minutes passed that felt like hours to him. But then — the door creaked open. Daddy was back.
The moment BonBon saw him, his sad cries turned into loud squeals of joy. He rushed across the floor on shaky little legs, climbing straight into his father’s arms. His tiny hands gripped tightly, face pressing into Daddy’s chest as soft sobs still escaped him.
Daddy held him close, rocking him gently. “I’m here now, baby,” he whispered, stroking his fur. “You’re okay.”
BonBon finally began to calm down, his body relaxing against the familiar warmth. The tears slowed, replaced by quiet sniffles and little sighs of relief.
Wrapped safely in Daddy’s arms again, BonBon’s sadness melted away — replaced by peace, love, and the comfort he’d been crying for all along.
