It was early morning in the forest, the air still cool and heavy with mist. The sound of rustling leaves caught a rescuer’s attention — faint, but strange. As they walked closer, they saw something that made their heart stop.
There, on a soft pile of fallen leaves, lay a tiny newborn baby monkey — barely the size of a hand, his body trembling with weakness.
