The morning sun glowed softly through the trees as little Miu, the baby monkey, sat snugly inside a small blue basin. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity while her fluffy tail curled around her tiny legs. Today was her favorite time — bath time with Dad!
Dad filled a small jug with warm water and smiled down at his wriggly little girl. “Ready, princess?” he asked playfully. Miu tilted her head, eyes wide, as if trying to decide whether to trust him. But before she could react, a gentle stream of water flowed over her fur, and she let out the cutest squeal ever!
“Eee! Eee!” she chirped, shaking her tiny hands as the water dripped down her face. Dad laughed softly and used his fingers to rub her back, careful not to scare her. The basin splashed with each movement — Miu’s little feet kicking excitedly as if she was learning to swim.
After a few moments, she began to relax. The warm water felt soothing, and soon her eyes softened. She leaned forward, resting her tiny hands on the edge of the basin, watching the ripples she made. Dad poured another light splash over her head, and she blinked slowly, enjoying the moment like a pampered princess at a spa.
When the bath was done, Dad wrapped her in a fluffy towel and held her close. Miu snuggled against his chest, fur damp but heart full of joy. She gave one last soft “Eee…” — her way of saying thank you — before closing her eyes, calm and content.
As Dad smiled down at her, he couldn’t help but whisper, “You’re my little sunshine.”
And under that warm morning light, Miu truly was — clean, happy, and loved beyond measure.
