Baby Lona was known for her charm — round eyes, fluffy fur, and a personality far bigger than her tiny body. Everyone adored her, but there was one thing she didn’t like at all: walking on the floor. She much preferred being carried around like the little princess she believed she was.
That morning, her dad decided it was time for her to learn to walk properly. He gently placed her on the ground and encouraged her with a smile. But the moment her tiny feet touched the floor, her expression changed completely.
Lona froze. Her big eyes widened, and her little mouth turned into an angry pout. A second later, the protest began. She squeaked, stomped her tiny feet, and threw her arms in the air as if to say, “How could you do this to me, Dad?!” Her tail flicked side to side while she sat dramatically on the floor, refusing to move.
Her dad tried to coax her, holding out his hand, but Lona turned her head away, pretending not to see him. The caretaker nearby couldn’t help but laugh softly — it was the cutest tantrum anyone had ever seen.
After a few minutes of sulking, Lona peeked up at her dad. He was still waiting patiently, smiling kindly. Slowly, she stood up, testing one little step… then another. The moment her dad clapped proudly, she forgot her anger and ran straight back into his arms, giggling and hugging him tightly.
Her tantrum melted into laughter as her dad lifted her high, twirling her playfully.
That day, baby Lona learned that sometimes, a small step on the floor can lead to a big step of love — even if it starts with an adorable little protest.
