BiBi’s Lonely Tears

Comments Off on BiBi’s Lonely Tears

Little BiBi, the baby monkey, clung tightly to her dad’s arm that morning. The sun had just risen, painting the sky gold, but BiBi wasn’t in the mood to enjoy it. Her dad had to leave for a short while — just to look for food — yet to BiBi, it felt like the end of the world.

The moment her dad began to move away, BiBi’s big eyes filled with tears. She squeaked softly at first, hoping he’d turn back. When he didn’t, her soft cries grew louder and sadder, echoing through the trees. She reached out her tiny hands, her body trembling with emotion, trying to grab him one last time.

Her dad looked back with gentle eyes. He made a soft sound — a monkey’s promise that he would return soon — before disappearing into the forest. But BiBi didn’t understand. To her tiny heart, he was gone, and the world suddenly felt empty.

She sat down on the ground, hugging her tail close, her little face wet with tears. Every rustle of leaves made her look up hopefully, thinking it might be him. The caretaker nearby tried to comfort her, gently rubbing her back and whispering softly, “He’ll be back soon, little one.”

Minutes passed slowly. Then, from afar, came a familiar sound — her dad’s call. BiBi’s head shot up, her eyes wide with joy. She squealed and raced toward the sound, her tiny feet stumbling but determined.

When she finally reached him, she leaped into his arms, burying her face in his chest. Her tears stopped instantly.

That day, BiBi learned something beautiful — that true love always finds its way back, no matter how far apart they are.
