Moody baby but still Mommy’s girl

Baby monkey Yuri has always been a bit moody — stubborn, sleepy, and full of attitude. No matter how soft her mommy makes the bed or how cozy the blankets are, Yuri always prefers sleeping right on the ground. She curls up on the floor with her little arms tucked in and her tail over her legs, pretending not to hear her mom’s voice calling her for milk or grooming time.

Every morning, Mommy comes closer, trying to wake her up. “Yuri, come here, baby!” she calls sweetly. But Yuri just squints her eyes, rolls to the other side, and gives a tiny grumpy growl as if to say, “Leave me alone, I’m still sleepy!”

Mommy, slightly annoyed, crosses her arms and frowns. She taps Yuri’s back gently with her tail, but the little one still refuses to move. “Fine,” Mommy huffs, pretending to walk away.

That’s when it happens — Yuri suddenly sits up, eyes wide and ears perked. She doesn’t like it when Mommy ignores her! With a little squeak, she runs to her mother, wrapping her tiny arms around her leg. The anger disappears in an instant as Mommy picks her up, holding her close to her chest.

Yuri clings tightly, rubbing her cheek against Mommy’s fur, the sleepiness slowly fading away. A few gentle kisses on her forehead, and the moody little monkey starts smiling again.

Though she may act stubborn and dramatic, Yuri’s heart is full of love. No matter how grumpy she feels, she always comes running back when Mommy calls. ❤️
