Hungry Miko’s heartbreak moment

Early in the morning, little Miko woke up hungry. His tiny belly rumbled, and his sleepy eyes searched for his favorite thing — his warm bottle of milk. He spotted it lying nearby and squeaked with excitement, crawling quickly to grab it.

But when he lifted it up and tilted it… not a single drop came out. The bottle was completely empty.

At first, Miko blinked in confusion. He shook it again — still nothing. His face slowly twisted with disappointment. Then came the cries. Loud, sharp, and full of heartbreak. “Eee! Eee! Eee!” echoed through the room as his little hands smacked the empty bottle again and again.

It wasn’t fair! He had waited all night, and now there was no milk! He stomped, rolled over, and kicked his tiny feet, his eyes brimming with tears. His tiny chest heaved as he cried louder, hoping someone would come to help.

Hearing the commotion, his caretaker hurried over. “Oh no, baby! Did Daddy forget your milk?” she said softly, picking him up. Miko clung to her shirt, still sobbing, showing her the empty bottle as if to say, “Look! It’s gone!”

She quickly warmed a fresh bottle, the sweet smell of milk filling the air. The moment Miko saw it, his cries stopped. He reached out both arms, desperate and trembling.

Finally, the first sip touched his lips — warm, comforting, and full of love. His little tail relaxed, his eyes softened, and soon he was peacefully sucking, hiccupping softly between gulps.

When he finished, he nuzzled against her chest, sleepy and content again. The empty bottle no longer mattered — love had filled him up instead.
