Lika cries not to be alone

Comments Off on Lika cries not to be alone

Baby Monkey Lika sat on the wooden table, her tiny hands pressing against the surface as she looked around with wide, nervous eyes. The room felt too big for her, and the silence made her even more uneasy. She didn’t understand why mom had stepped away for a short moment, but to her small heart, it felt like forever.

At first, she whimpered softly, shifting her little body back and forth as though searching for comfort. But the longer she sat alone, the louder her cries grew. Her mouth opened wide, and sharp little squeals filled the air. She pounded the table with her fists, tears glistening in her eyes, begging for mom to notice her.

Her tiny body trembled with fear and sadness, not because she was hurt, but because she didn’t want to feel abandoned. Every sound she made was a desperate call: “Please don’t leave me here. Hold me, keep me safe.”

When mom finally returned, Lika’s cries reached their peak. She stretched her little arms upward, clawing at the air, pleading to be lifted. The moment mom’s hands wrapped around her fragile frame, Lika pressed her face tightly against her chest, her cries softening into small hiccups.

The table was just a piece of wood, but for Lika, it was a lonely world without warmth. In her mom’s embrace, however, everything changed. Her body relaxed, her heart slowed, and she clung tightly, unwilling to let go.

That day proved a powerful truth — Baby Lika wasn’t stubborn or spoiled. She was simply a baby who needed love, closeness, and the safety of being in her mother’s arms.
