Leo Pulls Newborn, She Cries for Comfort

Leo, a curious and playful baby monkey, couldn’t understand why the newborn slept so much. While he wanted to play and explore, the tiny newborn needed rest to grow stronger. Today, Leo decided to take matters into his own hands. He toddled over to the little one, gently patting her at first, as if to say, “Wake up, let’s play!”

But the newborn, fragile and exhausted, only stirred a little, letting out a faint whimper. Not satisfied, Leo tugged softly at her tiny arm, trying to pull her up. The newborn immediately burst into heartbreaking cries, her small body trembling from the sudden movement.

The sound pierced the air—high-pitched, pitiful, filled with fear. She wasn’t ready to move. Her weak little hands reached out, not for play, but for comfort. Tears welled in her big round eyes as her tiny chest heaved with sobs.

Leo froze, startled by her reaction. His playful intention had turned into something much more emotional. He tilted his head, watching her cry, and for a moment, he seemed to understand. He reached out again, this time not to pull, but to touch her gently, brushing her arm as if to say, “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Mom hurried over, scooping the newborn into her arms. She held the tiny one close, rocking her softly until the cries slowed. Leo watched quietly, his eyes wide, realizing that sometimes his little sister needed more love than play.

It was a moment of learning—for Leo, a reminder to be gentle, and for the newborn, a reassurance that comfort would always be there after tears.
