Chamroeun Acts Nasty Copying Minea, Mom Upset

Chamroeun, usually playful and cheeky, was in a very naughty mood today. Watching little Minea throw her own tantrum, he decided to copy her behavior. Instead of listening to his mom, he stomped his hands on the ground, screeched loudly, and even rolled in protest just the way Minea sometimes does.

At first, he thought it was funny. His big eyes sparkled with mischief, and he seemed proud of himself for acting just like his playmate. But when Mom saw him, her face turned serious. She had expected better from Chamroeun, and the disappointment in her eyes was clear.

“Chamroeun, that’s not good,” she seemed to say as she crossed her arms and stood still. The little monkey, realizing his performance wasn’t being cheered, looked back at her with a mix of confusion and stubbornness. He screeched again, testing if she would give in.

But Mom didn’t move. She stayed firm, showing that nasty behavior would not be rewarded. Slowly, Chamroeun’s confidence shrank. His fake cries softened, his tail twitched nervously, and his eyes grew sad. He could feel Mom’s disappointment like a heavy weight.

Finally, he stopped, lowered his head, and crawled closer to her, clinging to her leg with an apologetic whimper. Mom sighed, lifting him gently. Though upset, her love was still stronger than her anger. She held him close, reminding him with her embrace that he was loved—but also teaching him that copying bad behavior was not the right way.

Chamroeun’s little act showed how baby monkeys learn quickly from each other—but also how important Mom’s guidance is to shape them with patience and love.
