Luna Cries Loudly as Dad Goes to Market

Luna was usually a cheerful little baby monkey, full of playful energy and curiosity. But today was different. The moment she saw her daddy picking up the shopping bag, her tiny face changed. She knew exactly what that meant — he was going to the market, and she would have to wait at home.

At first, she tried to follow him, scampering to the door with quick little steps, her tail twitching nervously. But when Daddy gently blocked her path and gave her a pat, she realized she couldn’t come along. That’s when the loud cries began. Her small voice echoed through the house, sharp and heartbreaking.

She ran to the window, pressing her little hands against the glass, watching him walk away. Each step he took made her squeal louder, as if her cries could pull him back. The house suddenly felt too big, too quiet, and far too lonely without him.

Mom tried to comfort her, offering a soft blanket and even her favorite banana slices, but Luna shook her head. She didn’t want food. She didn’t want toys. She only wanted Daddy to come back.

Minutes felt like hours. She paced back and forth, occasionally running to the door just to check if he was back yet. Her ears twitched at every sound from outside, hoping it was the familiar footsteps she loved so much.

Finally, after what felt like forever, the door creaked open. Daddy stepped in with the grocery bag, and Luna’s cries instantly turned into excited squeaks. She leaped into his arms, clinging tightly as if she would never let go again.

For Luna, Daddy’s return was the best part of the day — and the market trip was something she hoped would never take too long again.
