Tiny BEBE’s Tantrum Cry for Milk

Little BEBE, a newborn baby monkey, had only been in the world for a few days. Fragile, soft, and so tiny, her needs were still simple—warmth, comfort, and most importantly… milk.

But this morning, something felt wrong to her. She woke up with an empty tummy and no warm bottle nearby.

She blinked rapidly, searching the space around her. No mommy. No milk. Just a big, soft blanket and the warm sun on her back. It wasn’t enough.

And then it came.

Her tantrum began softly—little squeaky cries, her fists tightening, her tail twitching. Then the sounds grew louder. “EEEHHH!! EEEEHHHH!!” Her body wiggled as she threw her first-ever full-blown fit, red-faced and breathy.

Her tiny voice echoed across the room like an alarm. BEBE wanted the world to know—she was hungry, and she wanted milk NOW.

A caretaker rushed in, heart pounding. “Oh no, BEBE! What’s wrong, baby girl?”

But BEBE wasn’t listening. She kicked her tiny feet and screamed again, eyes squeezed shut, cheeks trembling. Her tantrum had taken over.

Finally, the warm bottle appeared. The scent hit BEBE’s nose like magic. Her eyes flew open, and the moment the nipple touched her lips—silence.

She latched on with desperation, drinking fast, her breath slowing down as the warm milk soothed her tiny belly.

In just a minute, the storm had passed.

BEBE’s tantrum faded into soft suckling noises. Her fingers clutched the blanket, her body relaxing. A single tear still clung to her cheek.

Her caretaker kissed her gently and whispered, “It’s okay now, sweet girl. Mommy’s here.”

And just like that, peace returned… until the next bottle was late again.
