Toto Stuck in Milk Can – Cries for Dad’s Help

Little Toto, the baby monkey, was always curious—especially around the kitchen area. That morning, he followed the scent of sweet milk drifting from the feeding hut. While the others played outside, Toto quietly climbed onto the low shelf, where empty and full milk cans were stored.

One shiny can still had a little milk left inside. Intrigued, Toto leaned over it… and slipped!

CLANG! The can rattled as his tiny body slid halfway in. His legs dangled outside while his head and arms were stuck inside, splashed with cold milk. At first, Toto thought it was funny. But within seconds, panic set in.

“Eee-eeek!” he squealed. The more he struggled, the deeper he slid into the can. Now only his feet and tail were sticking out.

Realizing he was stuck, Toto cried out desperately. His high-pitched screams echoed through the trees: “Daaaad! Daaaaaad!”

Daddy monkey was resting nearby when he heard the distress call. He rushed in, followed by a few other monkeys. There on the floor, the milk can wobbled with tiny feet kicking frantically out of the top.

With gentle but firm hands, Dad grabbed Toto’s ankles and slowly pulled him out. SLOOP! Out came a slippery, sticky little monkey, covered head to toe in milk.

Toto was shaking and sobbing, clinging tightly to his father’s chest. He wasn’t hurt—just scared and embarrassed.

Dad hugged him close, licking his little forehead to calm him. “No more milk adventures without supervision,” his eyes seemed to say.

Later, as Mom gently cleaned him with warm water, Toto clung tightly to her, making small whimpering sounds. From then on, every time he passed the milk cans, he’d eye them cautiously—but stay far away.
