Baby monkey Loco had always been a spoiled little one. The tiniest mess made her grumpy, and if something didn’t go her way—expect a loud tantrum! But today, Mama just wanted to wipe her tail clean after breakfast.
It should’ve been simple.
Mama gently lifted Loco and tried to hold her still. But the moment the soft cloth touched Loco’s tail, she let out a sharp squeal. Her little hands flew up, and she kicked with all her tiny might.
“Nooo!” she seemed to shout in her monkey way.
Mama sighed, patient but firm. The sticky fruit stains on Loco’s tail had to go. She tried again. This time, Loco twisted her body, flopped onto her side, and slapped the cloth right out of Mama’s hand. Her eyebrows scrunched, her lips pouted—and then came the full tantrum.
She cried loudly, rolled across the floor dramatically, and even pulled her favorite blanket over her head like it could protect her from the horror of a clean tail.
Mama couldn’t help but chuckle a little at her daughter’s theatrics.
After a moment of patience and a gentle cuddle, Mama whispered softly and offered Loco a tiny banana slice. That did the trick. With the snack in one hand and her other hand resting in Mama’s palm, she finally let her tail be cleaned—though not without a few dramatic huffs.
Once done, Loco climbed into Mama’s arms, her mood magically healed. She cuddled close, her tail finally clean and fluffy, as if nothing had happened.
Because for Loco, the tantrum was big—but Mama’s love was always bigger. 💛🐒
