It was just another playful morning for little baby monkey Tourtour. After a warm bath and a light breakfast, he was left to rest and roll around in his cozy basket while Mom tidied up nearby. But Tourtour seemed distracted today—not by toys, not by snacks, but… by something else.
He sat quietly at first, then suddenly reached down and began gently touching his private area. His tiny face squinted with curiosity and a slight frown. It was as if something felt off, maybe itchy or just strange. He paused, looked around to see if anyone was watching, then continued to check, scratching lightly and inspecting like a little detective.
Mom noticed and rushed over, gently scooping him up to check if something was wrong. She examined him carefully and realized his diaper had gotten slightly damp, probably causing the little itch that had Tourtour so puzzled.
With soft words and loving hands, she cleaned him up and applied a bit of soothing baby powder. Tourtour squirmed a little, still unsure about all the attention, but slowly started to calm down as the itchiness faded.
Once he felt better, Tourtour cuddled into Mom’s arms and gave a little sigh, as if relieved. Moments later, he was giggling again, poking at her nose and grabbing her fingers like nothing had happened.
Just like human babies, little monkeys go through all kinds of funny, awkward moments growing up. And even when it gets itchy or confusing, a little care from Mom always makes everything better.
