It was a bright and peaceful morning at the monkey shelter, and four adorable babies—Sovan, Sovanny, Jula, and Kobie—were already wide awake and squeaky clean from their morning bath. But instead of running around wildly like usual, something unusual caught everyone’s eye: all four were standing still, patiently waiting in a line.
Their caretaker, Mom, was just finishing preparing their little outfits for the day. Each baby had their own tiny shirt, soft and colorful, to keep them warm and cozy. But instead of jumping and screaming with excitement, they stood up tall, their eyes locked on the clothes in Mom’s hands.
Sovan stood with his hands behind his back like a little gentleman, while Sovanny had her hands folded at the front, tilting her head with wide curious eyes. Jula bounced slightly in place, but stayed in line, and Kobie, the smallest, copied the others with perfect concentration.
It was as if they knew that standing patiently meant they’d get dressed faster—and maybe even get a little treat!
Mom smiled at the scene, touched by how grown-up her little monkeys were acting today. One by one, she dressed each of them gently. Sovan puffed out his chest proudly once his shirt was on. Sovanny twirled around softly. Jula clapped his hands, and Kobie couldn’t stop touching his new outfit with wonder.
Their good behavior didn’t go unnoticed. After dressing, Mom gave each of them a tiny fruit treat—a piece of banana or mango—which made their eyes light up with joy.
In that moment, it was clear: even the most playful baby monkeys can show beautiful manners. And the bond they shared with Mom was filled with love, patience, and so much sweetness.
A morning of calm, kindness, and colorful little outfits
