In the peaceful corner of the yard, little Minea sat comfortably, nibbling on a ripe banana. Her tiny hands skillfully peeled the soft fruit, taking small bites while enjoying the morning sun. Nearby, a baby chicken wandered curiously, pecking at the ground, unaware of the trouble it was about to face.
Minea’s sharp eyes spotted the little chick approaching. At first, she simply watched, her tail swaying lazily. But as the chick moved closer, her playful nature took a mischievous turn. She suddenly reached out and grabbed the tiny bird, startling it with her firm grip.
The baby chicken let out a frightened squeak, flapping its tiny wings in distress. But Minea, instead of letting go, bit down lightly on the chick’s soft feathers. The poor bird cried out, struggling to escape.
The sound of distress caught the attention of an older monkey nearby. Hearing the chick’s desperate peeps, the elder monkey quickly rushed over and smacked Minea’s hand, forcing her to release the baby bird.
The chick tumbled onto the ground and ran off, still trembling from fear. Minea, startled by the elder monkey’s reaction, rubbed her hand and pouted. She didn’t understand why she was stopped—after all, to her, it was just another game.
But the lesson was clear. As much as she enjoyed teasing and playing rough, some actions were simply too cruel. Watching the baby chicken disappear into the bushes, she slowly realized that not all creatures were meant for her playful pranks.
