Tong Tong’s Tantrum: Not Happy with Tiny Ricky

Comments Off on Tong Tong’s Tantrum: Not Happy with Tiny Ricky

Tong Tong was not in the mood today. He sat with his arms crossed, pouting as he glared at tiny Ricky, who had just been placed next to him. Their caretaker had hoped the two baby monkeys would bond, but Tong Tong wasn’t satisfied.

Ricky, barely old enough to climb properly, looked up at Tong Tong with innocent eyes. He chirped softly, trying to snuggle closer for warmth. But Tong Tong was having none of it. With a huff, he scooted away, making it clear he didn’t want to share his space.

Their caretaker watched closely, knowing Tong Tong could be moody. “Be nice, Tong Tong,” the gentle voice said, but the little monkey stubbornly turned his back on Ricky.

Feeling rejected, Ricky let out a tiny whimper. He just wanted company. But when he tried again, placing a small hand on Tong Tong’s arm, the older monkey let out a loud squeal of frustration.

“Eek! No!” Tong Tong screeched, shaking Ricky off. He wasn’t used to sharing his space, and this tiny monkey was just too clingy for his liking.

Ricky’s eyes welled up with tears. He didn’t understand why Tong Tong was so mean. Seeing this, the caretaker gently picked up Ricky and comforted him, stroking his soft fur.

Tong Tong watched from the side, still pouting. But deep down, he felt a little guilty. Ricky wasn’t bad—he was just small and lonely. Maybe, just maybe, Tong Tong could learn to be a little nicer next time
