Oh dear! Today ATong had one of his biggest tantrums ever!
It all started when mom was holding tiny baby Marrya, giving her soft cuddles and kisses. Marrya looked so peaceful and happy in mom’s arms, but ATong was watching from the side — and he wasn’t happy at all!
His big eyes followed every move mom made with Marrya, and you could see ATong’s little hands fidgeting, his lips pouting. He wanted mom right now!
Suddenly, with no warning — WAAAA! — ATong let out a loud scream that filled the whole room. He threw himself back on his bed, arms and legs kicking in frustration. His eyes filled with tears as he looked at mom like, “Why are you holding her and not me?!”
Mom turned quickly, surprised, and said, “ATong, baby! What’s wrong?” But ATong just screamed louder, his little heart bursting with jealousy and sadness.
Seeing her baby boy so upset, mom gently walked over with Marrya still in her arms. “Come here, my love,” she said softly.
ATong reached out both arms, still sobbing, wanting mom to pick him up. Mom carefully sat down, pulling ATong close and wrapping her other arm around Marrya — now holding both babies tight.
“There, see? Mommy has enough love for both of you,” she whispered, kissing ATong’s head.
Slowly, ATong’s crying softened as he snuggled against mom’s chest, glancing over at Marrya. Maybe sharing mom wasn’t so bad after all.
In the end, mom sat rocking both her babies, making sure ATong felt just as loved and special.
