Oh no! Today little ATong had a full-on meltdown — and all because mom took his favorite towel away!
It all started when ATong was lying happily on the bed, cuddling his soft towel — the one he loves so much. He was wrapping himself in it, chewing the corners, and holding it like his best friend. That towel was his everything — his toy, his comfort, his world!
But when mom saw the towel getting too dirty, she gently came over and said, “ATong, let me clean it, baby.”
As soon as mom reached for the towel, ATong’s eyes got wide. He pulled it closer to his chest, shaking his head. “Nooo!” his little face seemed to say.
But mom had to take it. And the moment she did — Oh My God!! — ATong’s tiny heart broke right there!
He threw himself back on the bed, crying so loud that the whole house could hear! Tears rolled down his cheeks as he kicked his feet and waved his arms in frustration. His little face was red, and his eyes kept looking at mom like, “Why would you do this to me?”
Mom tried to calm him, picking him up to cuddle, but ATong turned away, still crying and angry.
Finally, mom brought him a clean, soft blanket to hold until his towel was ready. Slowly, ATong stopped crying, but he kept looking at the door, waiting for his towel to come back.
