Suddenly, gentle hands lifted them, wrapping them in a soft, warm cloth. The warmth made them twitch slightly, their tiny fingers gripping the fabric instinctively.

“Shh, little ones, you’re safe now,” a soothing voice whispered. A warm bottle was pressed against their lips, and as the warm milk flowed in, their cries slowly faded into soft whimpers.
