It was a peaceful afternoon until a sudden sharp scream broke the silence. Yuri cried out in pain, his tiny body trembling. Minea had bitten him—hard!
Daddy, who was nearby, snapped his head around in shock. His eyes widened as he saw Yuri clutching his arm, whimpering with teary eyes. Meanwhile, Minea stood there, her little face filled with mischief and jealousy.
“Minea! What did you do?!” Daddy’s voice was stern as he rushed to scoop up the sobbing Yuri.
Minea didn’t answer. Instead, she puffed out her cheeks, crossed her arms, and turned her head away. She was upset because Yuri had been sitting close to Daddy, and she didn’t like it.
Yuri, still sniffling, buried his face into Daddy’s chest. His tiny body shook, and his soft cries made Daddy’s heart ache. He gently kissed Yuri’s head, rubbing his back to calm him down.
Turning to Minea, Daddy frowned. “That was very bad, Minea! You don’t hurt your little brother!” But instead of feeling guilty, Minea pouted, her tail flicking stubbornly.
Seeing that she wasn’t sorry, Daddy sighed. He sat down, pulling Yuri close, while keeping a firm eye on Minea.
Eventually, Minea started to feel a little bad. She peeked at Yuri, then slowly inched closer.
“…Sorry,” she mumbled softly.
Yuri sniffled, still upset, but he didn’t push her away. Instead, he rested his head against Daddy, seeking comfort.
