Mom’s Angry at Jealous Yuri

Comments Off on Mom’s Angry at Jealous Yuri

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the little yard as Mom sat down with two milk bottles—one for Mako and one for Yuri.

Tiny Mako, the youngest, was already sitting eagerly, his little hands reaching out for his bottle. His eyes sparkled with hunger and excitement. But Yuri?

Yuri sat stubbornly on the ground, arms crossed, lips pouting, refusing to move. His eyes burned with jealousy as he watched Mom give Mako the first sip of milk.

“Yuri, come sit here,” Mom called. “You both get milk together.”

But Yuri didn’t budge. He just glared at Mako, his tail twitching angrily.

Mom sighed. She knew this tantrum all too well.

“Yuri! Get up now!” she said, her voice firmer.

Still, Yuri sat frozen, his little chest rising and falling with frustration. He wanted Mom’s love all to himself. Why did she always have to share with Mako?

Mako, unaware of the tension, happily drank his milk, his tiny hands clutching the bottle. The sight made Yuri’s jealousy explode.

He threw himself backward, kicking his legs and wailing loudly.

Mom had enough. She stood up and pointed at Yuri.

“Yuri, stop this now! You’re not a baby anymore!” she scolded.

Yuri’s cries slowed, but his face was still scrunched in anger.

Mom sighed, shaking her head. She scooped Yuri up and sat him beside Mako. “I love you both. But you must learn to share.”

She handed Yuri his bottle. His jealousy faded as soon as the warm milk touched his lips.

For now, peace was restored
