Little baby Tourtour sat on a small wooden chair in the yard, his tiny stomach growling with hunger. The afternoon sun shone brightly, and his little hands tapped impatiently on his belly.
He had been waiting far too long for his mommy to bring him milk! His eyes darted toward the house, where Mommy was still busy preparing his bottle. But Tourtour had no patience left—he was too hungry to wait.
“Maaah! Maaah!” he cried out loudly, shaking his tiny arms in frustration. His little face turned red as he kicked his feet. Where was Mommy?
He turned his head toward the doorway, hoping she would appear with his precious bottle. But no! She was still inside, moving too slowly for his liking.
“Milk! Milk! I need milk now!” he seemed to scream, his voice getting louder. His tiny mouth opened wide, showing his pink tongue as he let out a dramatic wail.
Finally, Mommy rushed out, holding the warm milk bottle. “Oh, my little one! You’re so impatient!” she said with a chuckle.
But Tourtour was too angry to laugh. He reached out with both hands, grabbing the bottle quickly before Mommy could even sit down. He shoved the nipple into his mouth and began sucking furiously, his cheeks moving up and down.
Slurp, slurp, slurp! The warm milk instantly made him feel better, but he still gave Mommy a little side-eye for taking too long.
Mommy shook her head, smiling. “You’re such a dramatic baby, Tourtour.”
But Tourtour didn’t care. All that mattered was his milk!
