Bebe’s Jealousy Leads to Trouble

The warm afternoon breeze rustled through the leaves as baby monkeys played in the yard. Koma, the sweet little one, sat happily on the wooden floor, playing with a small cloth. She giggled, waving it in the air as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

But not far away, Bebe sat, watching. His tiny eyes burned with jealousy. His mom had just cuddled Koma and given her some fruit, and that made Bebe furious.

“Why does she get all the attention?” Bebe thought angrily. His tiny hands balled into fists.

Then, before anyone could stop him, Bebe rushed toward Koma. His little feet pattered against the floor as he lunged forward—CHOMP!

“Owwww!!” Koma screamed in shock as Bebe bit her tiny arm. She immediately burst into tears, her cries echoing through the yard.

Mom, who had been nearby, turned quickly. “Bebe!!” she shouted, rushing to separate them.

Bebe backed away, his lips pouted, but his eyes were still full of jealousy. “Mom always loves Koma more,” he thought bitterly.

Mom picked up Koma, checking her arm. “Oh, my poor baby,” she said, kissing her gently. Then, she turned to Bebe with a firm voice, “That was very bad, Bebe! We don’t bite our siblings!”

Bebe sniffled, lowering his head. He hadn’t meant to make Koma cry so much…

Koma, still sobbing, reached her tiny hand toward Bebe. Even though she was hurt, she wanted peace.

Mom sighed. “Come here, Bebe.” She pulled him close, letting him snuggle against her.

Bebe clung to Mom, feeling guilty. Maybe next time, he wouldn’t let jealousy control him.

Maybe…
