Jasmine’s Loud Demand for Milk!

Comments Off on Jasmine’s Loud Demand for Milk!

Late in the afternoon, little Jasmine sat on a small wooden chair in the yard, waiting impatiently. The sky had started to turn golden, and the warm breeze rustled through the trees, but Jasmine didn’t care about any of that. She only had one thing on her mind—milk!

Her tiny stomach grumbled as she looked around for her mom. But Mom was busy inside, still finishing her work. Jasmine’s patience was running out. She took a deep breath, puffed up her little chest, and let out a loud, high-pitched scream—

“MILK!! MILK!! MOOOOOOM!!”

Her voice echoed through the yard, startling a few birds from the tree. But still, no milk. She kicked her little feet against the chair, pouted, and screamed again.

“MOM!! I CAN’T WAIT ANYMORE!”

Hearing the commotion, Mom rushed outside, holding the milk bottle in her hands. “Jasmine, I’m right here! Stop yelling!”

But Jasmine wasn’t ready to calm down yet. She crossed her tiny arms, her face scrunched in frustration. “You took too long!” she huffed, her tail twitching.

Mom sighed, kneeling in front of her. “I was getting your milk ready, silly girl. Now, come here.”

As soon as she saw the bottle, Jasmine’s eyes lit up. She quickly reached out and grabbed it with both hands, stuffing the nipple into her mouth. “Mmmm!” She sucked the warm milk eagerly, her tantrum forgotten in seconds.

Mom chuckled, patting Jasmine’s little head. “See? No need to scream. Good things take time!”

Jasmine didn’t reply—she was too busy drinking. But deep inside, she thought, Next time, Mom better be faster!
