Hungry Siblings: Hurry Up, Mom!

In the cozy corner of their home, two baby monkeys, Toby and Lala, sat impatiently on a small wooden table. Their tiny bellies rumbled with hunger, and their round eyes kept following their mom as she prepared their milk bottle.

Lala, the younger one, rocked back and forth, making soft whining noises. “Eeeh! Eeeh!” she cried, stretching her tiny arms toward her mom.

Toby, slightly older and just as impatient, started tapping the table with his little hands. “Mom! Milk! Hurry up!” he squeaked, his tail twitching in frustration.

Their mom smiled, shaking her head at their dramatic behavior. “Be patient, little ones. It’s almost ready,” she said while shaking the warm milk bottle gently.

But patience was not in Toby and Lala’s nature. Lala leaned forward and tried to grab the bottle before it was even ready. “No, no, Lala, wait!” Mom gently pulled it away, but Lala let out a loud cry, kicking her little feet in protest.

Toby, seeing his sister crying, got even more desperate. He jumped up and down, holding onto Mom’s leg. “Mom, she’s crying! Just give it to us now!” he pleaded.

Finally, Mom tested the milk’s temperature and smiled. “Okay, okay, here you go.”

Before she could even sit down properly, both baby monkeys lunged at her, eagerly grabbing at the bottle. Toby tried to drink first, but Lala wouldn’t let him. She grabbed onto it, making tiny grumbling noises.

Mom chuckled and held the bottle steady so both could drink together. As the warm milk filled their tiny tummies, their whimpers turned into happy, satisfied sighs.

Peace was restored—for now.
