The sun had barely risen when little Max, the baby monkey, woke up with a growling stomach. His tiny hands clutched his belly as he looked around for his mom. Seeing her busy preparing food, his impatience grew. His round eyes widened, and suddenly, he let out a loud scream.
“EEEEEK! Moooooom! HUNGRY!!!” Max wailed, bouncing on the wooden bed. His little tail twitched as he stomped his tiny feet, demanding attention.
His mom turned around, holding a banana. “Just a moment, Max,” she said, peeling it slowly. But that was not fast enough for the starving little monkey. He threw his arms up, shaking his head dramatically.
“Nooo! I want it now!!” he cried, rolling on the floor, kicking his tiny legs. His hunger tantrum was in full force.
His mom sighed and picked him up, placing him on her lap. “Okay, okay, here you go, little troublemaker,” she chuckled, finally handing him a piece of banana.
Max grabbed it instantly, stuffing it into his mouth like he hadn’t eaten in days. His cheeks puffed up as he chewed, his whimpers fading into satisfied munching.
As he swallowed the last bite, he licked his fingers and sighed in relief. His hunger was gone, and now, feeling full, he rested his head against his mom’s chest, closing his eyes.
His mom smiled, stroking his tiny back. “See? No need for all that screaming,” she whispered. But Max was already dozing off, his belly full and his tantrum forgotten.
