It was a peaceful morning in the village yard, where baby monkey Minea loved to explore. She had always been curious about the little chicks that scurried around, their tiny feet pattering against the ground. Their fluffy yellow bodies looked so soft, and their tiny chirps were adorable. Minea couldn’t resist getting closer.
Excited, she crouched low, reaching out a gentle hand toward one of the chicks. The tiny creature peeped in surprise, flapping its little wings. Just then, a loud, angry squawk shattered the air.
Minea barely had time to react before a blur of feathers came charging at her. It was Mommy Chicken—fierce, protective, and furious! Her sharp beak pecked the air dangerously close to Minea’s face, and her wings flapped wildly.
Terrified, Minea let out a high-pitched scream and tumbled backward, her tiny hands flailing. Her heart pounded as the enraged hen chased her across the yard. Minea scrambled away as fast as she could, but the furious chicken was relentless.
With one final shriek, Minea leaped onto a low branch of a nearby tree, panting heavily. Her tiny chest heaved as she clung to the branch, staring wide-eyed at the angry hen below. Mommy Chicken clucked warningly before gathering her chicks and leading them away, her job as a protective mother complete.
Minea, still shaken, let out a soft whimper. She had never been so scared in her life! From that moment on, she promised herself—she would never mess with Mommy Chicken’s babies again!
