The morning sun had already risen high in the jungle, but little Koy, the playful baby monkey, was still yawning and rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“Wake up, Koy! Breakfast is ready!” Mama Monkey called from the kitchen.
Koy stretched her tiny arms and gasped. “Oh no! I overslept!” She hurried to the kitchen, her little belly already growling.
On the table, a bowl of sweet mashed bananas was waiting for her. But there was a problem—no spoon!
Koy’s eyes widened. “I must find a spoon right now!”
She ran to the kitchen shelf and grabbed one. But as she turned, oops!—the spoon slipped from her hand and clattered to the floor.
Koy sighed, picked it up, and wiped it on her fur. “All good!” she said.
Just as she was about to eat, she saw Grandpa Monkey watching her with a raised eyebrow.
“Koy,” he chuckled, “did you just clean that spoon with your fur?”
Koy blinked. “Uhh… yes?”
Grandpa laughed. “Little one, let’s wash it properly first!”
Koy giggled and ran to rinse the spoon in fresh water. Finally, she sat down and took her first bite.
“Mmm! So yummy!” she said happily, swinging her tail.
Mama Monkey patted her head. “Next time, wake up earlier, Koy!”
Koy grinned. “I will, Mama! But can I have one more bowl?”
Everyone laughed as Koy happily finished her late breakfast.
The End. 🐵🍌🥄💕
