In the lush, green jungle, Kasky, the baby monkey, was curled up in his mother’s arms. The morning sun cast a golden glow through the leaves, but Kasky wasn’t feeling his usual playful self.
He had been feeling a bit under the weather, his tiny body shivering from a slight fever. His little eyes were droopy, and he kept rubbing his nose with his tiny hands.
His mother, Lina, noticed immediately. “Kasky, my little one, are you not feeling well?” she asked, her voice soft and full of concern.
Kasky nodded weakly, his lips trembling. “I don’t feel good, Mama,” he mumbled.
Without a second thought, Lina pulled Kasky closer, wrapping him in the warmth of her fur. “It’s okay, my love. Mama is here. I will take care of you,” she whispered gently.
Lina quickly gathered soft leaves and made a cozy nest for Kasky to lie down in. She placed him gently into it, tucking the leaves around him like a soft blanket.
With a worried glance, Lina reached out to a nearby waterfall. She picked some fresh, cool water in her hands and brought it to Kasky’s lips. “Drink this, baby. It’ll make you feel better.”
Kasky took a small sip, his little chest rising with each slow breath. “Thank you, Mama,” he whispered, his voice still weak.
Lina smiled lovingly at him. “Rest now, little one. Mama will stay by your side until you’re all better.”
As Kasky drifted off to sleep, his mother stayed close, keeping him warm and safe. She gently stroked his fur, her heart full of love and tenderness.
As the hours passed, Kasky’s breathing grew steadier. The warmth of his mother’s care was all he needed to heal.
