The morning started off peacefully as little Minea and Yuri played under the shade of a tall tree. They had been chasing each other, climbing branches, and tumbling in the soft grass. Everything seemed perfect—until things took a sudden turn.
Yuri, always full of energy, got a little too rough. As Minea playfully reached out to grab a small twig, Yuri, in a flash, bit her tiny hand.
“Owww! Aaaaaahhh!” Minea let out a heartbreaking scream, her little face scrunching up in pain. She held her hand close to her chest, tears welling up in her big, innocent eyes.
Yuri froze, realizing what she had done. But instead of saying sorry, she turned her head away, pretending like nothing happened.
Minea sobbed loudly, looking around for comfort. She didn’t understand why Yuri had hurt her—weren’t they just playing? She hiccupped between cries, looking for Daddy, looking for someone to help.
Hearing the commotion, Daddy rushed over. “Oh no, my poor little girl,” he said, scooping Minea into his arms. She buried her face into his chest, still whimpering.
Daddy gently rubbed her back and checked her tiny hand. “It’s okay, sweetheart. You’re safe now.” He blew softly on her fingers, trying to ease the pain.
Then, he turned to Yuri. “Yuri, that was not nice,” he said in a firm voice.
Yuri looked down, suddenly feeling guilty. After a moment, she walked over and hesitantly touched Minea’s arm. It was her way of saying sorry.
Minea sniffled, hesitated, then finally nodded. With Daddy’s love and a small act of apology from Yuri, her tears slowly faded.
It was a tough lesson, but one that would help them both grow.
