It was a bright and breezy morning in the cozy family home, and baby monkey Yuri was her usual lively self. After finishing her morning milk, she was bursting with energy and ready to explore. Her tiny feet pattered across the floor as she dashed from one corner to another, climbing over cushions and playing with her toys.
“Yuri, slow down, you just had your milk!” Dad called out, laughing as he watched her energetic antics. But Yuri was far too excited to heed the advice. She spun in circles, leaped onto her favorite stool, and hopped back down, her tail swishing with joy.
Then, it happened. Mid-sprint, Yuri suddenly stopped in her tracks, her face scrunching up in discomfort. Before anyone could react, her morning milk made an unwelcome return, spilling out onto the floor. Poor Yuri looked both surprised and embarrassed, her tiny hands covering her face as she let out a soft whimper.
“Oh, Yuri,” Mom said gently, rushing to her side. She scooped up the little monkey and held her close, wiping her mouth with a soft cloth. “That’s why we tell you not to run right after eating!”
Yuri clung to Mom, her big eyes full of apology. Dad quickly cleaned up the mess while Mom cuddled Yuri, stroking her head to soothe her. Once she was feeling better, Mom brought Yuri a little water to sip and sat her down on the couch with a warm blanket.
By afternoon, Yuri was back to her playful self, albeit a bit more cautious. She learned an important lesson that day—sometimes, even the liveliest little monkeys need to take a break after a meal. And for her parents, it was another reminder that life with Yuri was always full of unexpected surprises!
