It was a quiet morning when little Pavpav suddenly decided he wasn’t happy with anything.

He had been playing peacefully on the bed, but when Mom asked him to sit calmly, his little face immediately changed.

He frowned.

Then he started making loud, unhappy sounds.

“AAAAAH!”

Mom turned toward him.

“Pavpav, sweetheart, what’s wrong?”

Instead of answering, Pavpav screamed even louder.

He waved his tiny arms and kicked his feet dramatically.

Mom tried to distract him with his favorite toy, but Pavpav pushed it away.

He clearly wasn’t interested.

He wanted things his own way.

Dad watched from nearby and smiled.

“Someone is having a very dramatic morning.”

Pavpav heard Dad and became even more determined.

He let out another enormous scream before grabbing a soft pillow.

With a frustrated little motion, he threw himself onto the pillow and buried his face in it.

Mom quickly moved closer.

“Oh, my goodness, little Pavpav!”

She gently made sure he was safe and then sat beside him.

“I know you’re angry, but throwing things isn’t how we show our feelings.”

Pavpav continued whining into the pillow.

Mom didn’t yell back.

Instead, she waited patiently and spoke softly.

“You can be upset. Mommy understands. But you need to calm your body first.”

Slowly, Pavpav’s shouting became quieter.

He peeked out from behind the pillow.

Mom smiled.

“There you are.”

Pavpav looked at her with watery eyes.

After a few seconds, he reached one tiny hand toward her.

Mom gently took it.

“Do you want Mommy?”

Pavpav nodded.

She gave him a warm cuddle, and his angry expression slowly disappeared.

Dad laughed softly.

“That was quite a tantrum.”

Mom smiled.

“Big feelings can be difficult for little ones.”

Pavpav rested against Mom’s shoulder, finally calm.

Afterward, he picked up the pillow he had thrown and placed it back on the bed.

Mom praised him.

“Good job. That’s much better.”

Pavpav gave a tiny happy squeak.

His naughty mood was finally gone.

Mom kissed his forehead and whispered, “You can always tell Mommy when you’re upset. We can work through it together.”

Pavpav cuddled closer.

The loud screams and dramatic tantrum were over, replaced by a peaceful little hug.

Sometimes even the naughtiest moments can become gentle lessons when patience and love are there to guide a little heart.
